Oahu Trip

Just booked flights and hotel to Oahu in early August!! Stoked!!!

Thanks guys ... trip hasn't hit me yet lol. Wish we went back to paper tickets at least you got something to drool at until the trip arrives.

We're staying in Waikiki and probably surf Queens and those longboard / beginner beaches for the most part. Definitely make our way to the North Shore at some point but likely to just take pictures ... if it's flat I'll rent a board and ride a little ankle slapper just to say I did it.

haha nice. Yeah.. Im bummed. When I was there, it was like waist-chest high stuff.. I was totally out IN the waist high North Shore.. however, I didnt know how to surf yet.. so I didnt get up and ride anything.

Cool man.. Waikiki is pretty fun too (minus the fact that it feels just like Los Angeles with very nice warm water to me.. hahah)

Either way, Im sure it will be great times for you guys! Lookin forward to pictures! (or the sweet videos you are always making haha.)

Yeah you just have to move out farther in Waikiki to get the good waves. Just stay away from the locals haha. Just like LA as LongBoarderDave said.
