El Salvador

Greetings!

Just came back from another trip to El Salvador. What an awesome-laidback--uncrowded-sweet spot. Anyone considering Central America should forget overated Costa Rica, skip Nicaragua, and just head straight to El Salvador. Stay at a killer hostel for $25, eat for $15 a day, and a dollar beers.

Anyone heading that way in need of guidance?

I stayed in El Tunco and hit Fishermans, k61 and Conchalio. Then took day trips east to Las Flores and another one to Punta Bongo. I used www.barreldogsurf.com --a girlfriend of mine that also travels solo recommended them. They are awesome.

Just purchased tickets to go there on June 3rd for a week. Its just me and a guy I know from my local spot in LA traveling together. We were looking for more people to come but nobody can get off work so its just us two. We were looking at staying at Hotel Roca Sunzal in Playa El Tunco. Did you see this place? And what was the name of the hostel you stayed at? Can you point me in some good directions. And, did you do other stuff like hiking or seeing the Mayan ruins?
