I'll bet that it will really come alive in the 3-4'+ surf.

I had a quad that was about that size and shape about a year and a half ago and it was awesome in the mid sized surf.

I think you might be right TI ... I'm hoping to get this out in real surf. Hopefully Bolsa will be pumping during the outing.

hmm. Its prob just not a mushbuster type shape. Were you going for an "everyday" type thruster ? a small wave mushbuster ?

I have an "everyday" type thruster with very similar dims, although as soon as i got it, the ocean went flat and it started raining. I haven't had it out in anything above knee - waist high. Its depressing.

To make a call? Pfffft You should for fun , try Todd, He will talk to you. Tell him what you ride now , how big you are what you are having trouble with and where you want to go with your surfing next. He will come up with a board. Maybe even right there from his system of thigs. But if he does. Right it down. Also tell him PU or epoxy (proxy) Can go with a little lass board with the proxy.

Good news ... took the Chameleon out at Dog Beach this morning to some small but decent waves and it rode really well. Had it set up as a quad. Super maneuverable but stalled out in the flats a couple times. Good stuff can't wait to try it out in decent surf with a thruster setup again although I'm thinking this board likes quad.

Jen-0, Squatty and I were surfing Seapoint/Dog beach yesterday morning. I didnt see ya on the cheetah tho
