Surf Trip

I am from Colorado, about to go to on a vacation/surf roadtrip from san francisco down to san diego. The problem is I do not have a board. Does anyone know if there are places where I could rent a board in San Fran and drop it off in San Diego or any other transfer opportunities similar to that so that I can surf down the coast? Any other ideas? Any help is welcomed.

That's a tough one bro. I think your best bet would be to identify shops that rent boards along your route. That'll limit the spots you can surf for sure but barring that, the only other thing I can think of is to get a used board in San Fran and find a shop in SD where you can hopefully sell it.
