Surf Sessions

I had a pretty fun afternoon session today out at Knob in Redondo. Paddled out at about 1pm, took a break for a sandwich at about 2:30, back in at 3, then left at about 4. It was real wind chopped bumpy rides, but it was a slower mushy Knob (which I am not used to.) Im used to it pitching over quick and then closing out.. but today it was slower, longer rides before closing out. I had some fun ones. Got to experiment with some fun carving on my rights. (Im goofy, so I get a lot of practice going left, just trying to find my ability to go right still).

All in all.. it was a fun afternoon.

Yes indeed the clump of greenery before the second set of stars can get really good I have surfed it a few times.
encena creek had a few right today also.

Had a real fun session this morning out at Knob Hill.. I said "It's valentines day, I deserve time out in the ocean.. even IF it's bacteria infested; Im surfing!"

..and I had a blast. It was real fun out there.. 2-3 footers again but this time they were pitching over real nice.. Easy to paddle into and fun to ride. As the tide came up it washed out around noon.. but man.. Fun, fun Valentines day for me.

Yeah.. the thing I keep kicking myself about all morning this time.. why is it always the rights that I take off on the best waves of my day?? hah I SUCK at rights (goofy footer) but everytime I decide to take one.. it turns out to be an AWESOME wave.. and I hack my way down the face and then usually crash out at the bottom turn. hah. and sit there going.. if that was a left.. I would've been in LOVE!!

I hated lefts for so long but I can surf well back side or goffy summer is mostly south swells so im forced to go left ...
Just go for it and have fun.

hah yeah thats what I do.. I just laugh that it always seems I get these awesome waves when Im going my worst way.. hah. Oh well. Still fun making that drop..

i hit the slopes today dont have a surfboard but i have a snowboard

Oh man I knew I should've gone out today. Definitely tomorrow morning then.

I have church in the morning (930) But I think I may take my board with me since my church is a short drive to Knob.. haha.
