Weekend surf

With the surf dropping this weekend what would be the best bet for some fun surf?
I'm Not sure if I'm getting in a pm surf Sat or am surf on Sunday.

We should still be seeing waist high to maybe chest high surf in the northern half of the bay here in LA county.. El Porto will probably be waist high stuff. North of all that you might see some decent stuff up in Malibu or something. Otherwise.. there is always Trestles/San O down in San Clemente that usually will catch whatever is in the water.

i may be up in ur neck of the woods this sunday afternoon. i think my kids are washing cars for donations somewhere in redondo.

Nice.. I'm out of town this weekend.. I'll be up in Santa Maria (little north of Santa Barbara) visiting my family for the weekend. Hope you have a great time up here though.

I would assume Porto would be good but very crowded. If you want good waves, though, I would suggest driving north to Malibu/County Line/etc or south to Bolsa/HB/etc. I'll be out at Venice Sat and Sun morning/early afternoon. Have to stay nearby because I have plans with friends and some weekend chores.

Will you be out at the same place we went, this Sat? I'm going to be helping at Venice Arm Wrestling tourney so I'm not sure yet how much time I will have in the morning.

Yep, South of the pier about 2 lifeguard towers down. I'm never able to get my friends up for dawn patrol, so I'll probably be there about 10-2 both days. Give me a call if you want to meet up.

I'm down for anytime. I have never surfed Venice before so this will be something new. If you guys would let me know where to park, that would be great. Hyuuj, I will PM you my number.
